offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.
Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.
Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A cold front will approach
from the W tonight and cross over the waters Wed. Then another
cold front will descend over the waters Wed evening from the N
and stall Wed night persisting through Thu. The front will weaken
Thu night as a low pressure center moves offshore of the mid
Atlantic. The will cross just S of the area Fri and Fri night.
Behind the low, a warm front moves NE across the waters Sat. A
cold front approaches from the NW Sat night and cross the waters
Sun while weakening. Another cold front will then approach from
the W Sun night.
The NAVTEX station at Boston, MA has been reported as
inoperative. Technicians are aware.
